PASTOR ADRIAN CLAYTON, SR.

Pastor Adrian Clayton accepted his calling to the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ in October of 2006 but had the evidence of God’s calling on his life from his mother’s womb. He confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13 and joined the Starlight M.B. Church in Chicago.

He currently serves as the Pastor of Starlight International Ministries where he directs a Ministry Staff of 5, and shepherds one of the fastest growing congregations in Chicago.

Pastor Adrian Clayton’s ministry mission is “to reach the world with the Gospel of the Grace of Jesus Christ”. His dynamic preaching and teaching style embody humor, warmth, wisdom, transparency and passion.

Enabling him to transcend barriers to reach others. He has traveled the world as a Psalmist singing God’s praise both inside and outside of the walls of the church. He is determined to glorify God with all the gifts of the Spirit that he has been blessed with.

Pastor Adrian Clayton is the husband of Lady Anita Clayton and a father of 5. He stands as the spiritual head of his family.

A Graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Pastor Clayton held various management positions at AT&T where he was employed for 20 years. In February of 2020 Pastor Clayton transitioned into a new career after accepting a role with the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

LADY ANITA S. CLAYTON

Lady Anita is the wife to Pastor Adrian D. Clayton Sr. and enjoys reading, laughing, social gatherings, shopping – as she refers to it as “retail therapy”, traveling and spending quality time with her immediate family and very close friends. While enjoying her life to the fullest she lives every moment as if it was her last.

Lady Anita is an awesome woman to the body of Christ. Reared up in the Church of God in Christ where she accepted the gift of salvation in her early adulthood and began to know Jesus for herself. Lady Anita has always been a role model to those around her and has a unique gift of one on one counseling and is often consulted when those she advises are making major life decisions.

Currently serving as the First Lady of Starlight International Ministries & Ministry Leader of Ladies with Purpose Women’s Ministry, Lady Anita has committed to continue to let the Lord have his way in her life and direct her path.

Lady Anita is a seasoned Human Resources professional with sharp business acumen and comprehensive conflict resolution experience. With a proven track record of managing recruitment & workforce planning, Lady Anita has spent her entire career dedicated to assisting people in finding employment. With God’s ability she has had the opportunity to employ thousands across state to state.

Working in the Non for Profit, Corporate, Private and Public-Sector Lady Anita is a skilled communicator and leader who possesses the initiative to meet the demands of heading a high functioning Human Resource Department.

Lady Anita is an award winner of Crain’s 2020 Notable Leaders in Human Resources, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Human Resources to the largest black owned security company in the nation, and is able to share God’s word & encourage those around her as she continues to fulfill her purpose of serving others.

Starlight International Ministries was birthed by the Holy Spirit through Pastor Adrian Clayton in late 2016, when God gave him the vision to reach the world with the gospel of the Grace of Jesus Christ and confirmed an Apostolic mantle through our emeritus leaders Apostle Charles and Lady Felicia Clayton.

Starlight International has maintained the firm foundation of proclaiming the rightly divided word of God that was laid by Apostle Charles and credits his teachings as the catalyst that equipped us for world-wide ministry in the 21st century. Our moniker is simple yet profound, Starlight is the place where, “The Word of God is Prioritized, and His Praise is Magnified”.

Since accepting the call to international ministry, Starlight has made great strides in content enrichment, including:

Sunday Morning Youth Experience (SMYE) to meet the ministry needs of young children 3 to 8 years of age
Formal Leadership training with spiritual and practical applications.
Social Media Ministry (Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
Cultural diversity in worship experiences that promotes an environment of inclusion.

It is our goal to fulfill the mission that Jesus left his disciples, to go into all the world and preach the gospel promoting life on the God level for every believer through intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
